Cyclists ! Come to explore the limitless playing area at the heart of the Grands Causses national regional park. From the Rougier plains to Causse limestone plateaus, enjoy the various mountain bike routes far from crowd in a setting that is still very wild where villages have know how to protect their peacefulness. Go on the discovery of the Pays du Roquefort and get your fill of sensations !

Step 1 – Challenge yourself

As soon as you arrived in the morning, join your instructor and saddle up ! No map to decipher, no satnav to set up : follow your instructor’s lead ! He takes you ride on a playing area with breathtaking landscapes . A great opportunity to improve your riding skills in every situations, thanks to the valued advice of your guide.

You tyres will be spinning on a clever mix of rolling track, stony singletracks and winding trails. You will have just as much time to pedal in the slopes to observe the unspoilt nature and taste the charme of the different atmospheres from the Grands Causses to Rougier.

Step 2 : Break or more ?!

After a good night, besides the personal satisfaction to have took up the challenge, two options lie before you. If your calves have not had enough, you will be able to fully enjoy the sensations thanks to the free mobile application “Rando Grands Causses”. You will be spoiled for choice with the 35 tours from Roquefort to Rougier mountain bike base, being more than 780 kilometers of marked paths (green to black).

Otherwise, relax by the pod, take the time to slow down or discover the city of Saint-Affrique.

Admire the church’s beautiful spire that culminates at 81 meters from the 14th centure Pont Vieux bridge or from the view of Caylus Rock. Wander in the streets, fill your basket up with a lot of local products and meet up for a coffee to chat and put the world to rights.
