It is an event beyond the measure of the king of cheeses. As a prelude to the summer season, it brings together farmers, cheese makers, chefs, artists and an audience of all ages in a savory environment. This is when we celebrate the vitality of the AOP Roquefort

MESCLAZIK FESTIVAL

 
Following the success of the concert by Claudio Capéo and the group Trois Cafés Gourmands, the town of Saint-Affrique was keen to continue hosting a major summer music event. And so the Mesclazik Festival took off. Join us on 12 and 13 July 2024 for the second Mesclazik Festival, at the Gravière natural leisure centre in Saint-Affrique, with Mouss and Hakim from the group Zebda and Les Négresses Vertes!

SAINT-IZAIRE BLUES FESTIVAL 

The Saint-Izaire Blues Festival is a suspended moment, in the heart of summer, around Blues music in all its colours in a friendly, country atmosphere.

Challenge Vaquerin

Kickoff in August of an event like no other, which has become the reference for the off-season. A tribute to a player by clubs which colors he has never worn. The challenge Vaquerin is the story of a reverence that has lasted for almost thirty years!

La Cycl'Roquefort

With more than 300 participants since 2019, La Cycl’Roquefort attracts more and more tourists. Along your way, cross the most famous and historic villages of the Hospitallers like Le Viala du Pas de Jaux,Saint-Eulalie de Cernon, Saint-Jean d’Alcas, Le Clapier or Sylvanès. The departure and arrival are both in Roquefort, the mythic “Cité fromagère”!

100 km de Milau

This is the oldest local sports manifestation, the first edition took place in 1972. It is also the most popular specialty test at national and European level.

Indeed, there exist around fifteen 100km runs on national level and the one in Millau is far the most important, since every year on the last weekend of September, it reunites around 1500 competitors at the start.

Le Fest'Trail Causses & Rougier 

An eco-friendly event, to discover the richness of a remarkable territory, at the heart of the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park. Exceptional landscapes, but also a regional patrimony with a departure at the foot of the castle of Montaigut, which dominates the valley of the Rougier, from the top of its rocky promontory; or the passage by the rock of Caylus, ancient fortified site of the counts of Saint-Affrique. And finally the know-how of our local producers, whose products will come to garnish the aid stations as well as the tables for a well deserved meal.

L’Hivernale des Templiers

The organizers have wished to propose an exhilarating trail, winterly and gourmet, at the land of the Templars, the Grands Causses and Roquefort… Check!

Small villages, typical farms of the Grands Causses to admire the local architecture, rocky chaos, Templar sites like the Couvertoirade, Le Viala du Pas de Jaux, rocky cirques like the one in Tournemire and Saint-Paul des Fonts, and of course, the famous Combalou, this small massif and its great ochre colored cliffs dominating Roquefort. 

Petits villages, fermes typiques des grands causses pour admirer l’architecture locale, chaos rocheux, cités templières telles que celles de La Couvertoirade, Le Viala du Pas de Jaux, des cirques rocheux tels que ceux de Tournemire et de St Paul des fonds et bien entendu le fameux Combalou, ce petit massif et ses grandes falaises ocres dominant Roquefort.
