The Millau 100 K

It is one of the legendary long distance race providing runners with moments of pain and pleasure! All these emotions keep them coming back for more and have made the success of this extreme race.

The Millau 100 K is the oldest French 100 K and is held in Millau every last Saturday of September. The race comprises a first loop which is equivalent to the distance of a marathon, continues with a second loop from Millau to St-Affrique and back, via the Rozier and Peyreleau, ascends the “côte de Tiergues” and passes twice under the famous Viaduct.          

The first part of the race takes place over rather flat terrain with slight uphill stretches, whereas the second part goes through a more hilly landscape with two steep slopes among which is the one in Tiergues.
